Intensive Outpatient Program for Individuals Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD IOP)
Our OCD Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for individuals seeking structured, evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Through evidence-based treatment, participants build awareness of why and how obsessional doubts are created and maintained and build trust in themselves to resolve those doubts to make compulsions unnecessary. The program also provides the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
**Our next cohort begins September 14th!

Specifics
Our OCD IOP utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches, including Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), a modern and highly effective alternative to ERP. Rather than focusing primarily on responding differently to obsessions after they occur, I-CBT helps individuals understand how obsessional doubts are created and maintained in the first place. By targeting the reasoning process that drives OCD and addressing symptoms at their source, group participants learn to disengage from the doubt cycle and build trust in their own experiences and senses. In other words, I-CBT works upstream to resolve OCD before it gains momentum, rather than managing it downstream after it has already taken hold.
Program components include:
I-CBT and ACT therapeutic interventions
Psychoeducation on OCD, anxiety, and the recovery process
Insight and skill-building to reduce compulsive behaviors and avoidance patterns
Identifying faulty reasoning processes involved in OCD and building trust in the self and senses
Guided practice and discussion within a supportive group setting
Individualized treatment recommendations and aftercare planning
Through a combination of evidence-based treatment, skill development, and peer support, participants learn to disengage from OCD-driven doubt and build greater trust in themselves, their experiences, and their senses.
