Hi, I’m Nora Hill, PA-C, CAQ-Psychiatry.

(she/her/hers)

Nora works as a physician assistant in psychiatry. She works with older adolescents and adults who often manage a great deal on the outside while experiencing anxiety and mood symptoms, attentional issues, burnout, and feel stuck in patterns that affect their sense of well-being and relationships.

Her approach is grounded in the mind-body connection and integrates evidence-based medication management with whole-person care. She emphasizes therapy, mindfulness, and foundational lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, and movement as essential foundations for healing and long-term well-being. She focuses on helping patients better understand what is driving their symptoms so we can address both immediate concerns and the underlying patterns that shape longer-term healing.

She provides both medication management and therapy, and frequently collaborates with outside therapists to support coordinated, consistent care. Her style is collaborative, steady, and direct, with an emphasis on clarity, insight, and sustainable improvement over time.

What made you decide to go into this specialty?

My path into psychiatry was shaped by both medical training and my personal and professional practice in yoga and meditation. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the connection between external functioning and internal experience—especially in individuals who are managing significant responsibility while privately struggling with anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and entrenched patterns in relationships.

I have a deep respect for people and their stories, and for the ways in which meaning is formed through lived experience. I believe that while we can be wounded through our stories, we also have the capacity to heal through them. Central to my work is a belief in the healing potential of the therapeutic relationship itself.

The most meaningful part of my work is building compassionate, honest, and collaborative relationships with patients. My therapeutic approach is informed by psychodynamic and existential frameworks, including logotherapy, and focuses on helping individuals make sense of their experiences and pursue meaningful, sustainable changes in how they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others.
