Hi, I’m Courtney McCaw, LMFT.
(she/her/hers)
Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She has been practicing at Edelweiss since 2021 and has been enjoying the opportunity to continue to grow and serve community.
Presently, she is interested in somatic and embodiment practices, specifically finding non-verbal, intuitive, and creative ways for individuals to discover, reconnect, and align body and mind in an increasingly disconnected world. She offers in-person and telehealth services, depending upon each individual’s need.
What made you decide to go into this specialty?
I have found it to be an honor to be a therapist, trusted with the most tender, deep and dark parts of humanity. It is extremely meaningful to me spiritually to use my presence and education to serve community in a compassionate and authentic way. It is my intention to offer compassionate, collaborative, and concise care, with the desire to retain the dignity and restoring hope and wholeness in each individual. As a personal ethical principle, I refuse to use AI in the therapy room for any therapeutic or administrative purposes.
