Hi, I’m Anna Desai, LPC, Clinic Director.

(she/her/hers)

Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Owner and Director of Edelweiss Behavioral Health, she brings years of experience working in higher levels of care, including inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization settings. These experiences shaped her understanding of how complex and personal mental health journeys can be. She’s passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported—while also helping them build meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What made you decide to go into this specialty?

I’ve always been drawn to work that is both meaningful and complex. Prior to my outpatient work, my experiences across higher levels of care shaped how I understand mental health—not as something that looks the same for everyone, but as something deeply personal and influenced by every aspect of a person’s life.

Those experiences have reinforced my belief that healing often requires facing difficult patterns, emotions, and challenges—and that no one should have to do that alone. I’m passionate about helping individuals feel understood, supported, and capable of meaningful change.

As both a clinician and a business owner, I care deeply about creating a space where thoughtful, specialized care is accessible and where clients feel genuinely seen. My idea for Edelweiss Behavioral Health came from a desire to build that kind of space—one that feels supportive and capable of meeting individuals wherever they are in their journey.
