Alyson earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Superior and is a licensed professional counselor in training who brings a warm, grounded, and strengths-based approach to her work with clients. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, Alyson believes clients can navigate them successfully and grow in the process. Alyson is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their experiences authentically. She values collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and works alongside clients to uncover the root of their challenges, develop personalized strategies, and foster lasting well-being.

Alyson takes a personalized and relational approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. She strives to cultivate an inclusive environment where clients feel free to be their full selves. By building trust and focusing on each individual’s strengths, she supports clients in developing new skills to manage life’s complexities and move toward personal growth. Alyson shows up authentically in her work and encourages clients to do the same, believing that meaningful change begins with genuine connection.

Alyson integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), to support clients in deepening self-awareness, fostering emotional regulation, and developing practical strategies for lasting change.
