What made you decide to go into this specialty?

As someone in recovery, I am passionate about helping others access effective treatment, resources and support that will help them on their journey of healing and recovery.  Yoga and meditation played an integral role in my recovery from an eating disorder.  I have experienced, both personally and professionally, the profound effects that yoga can have in supporting and sustaining recovery.  I wholeheartedly believe that yoga and meditation can be a powerful and effective component of recovery. It is my wish that everyone affected by an eating disorder (sufferers, carers, friends, and family) have access to these powerful and transformational tools.
